Current Mission Discussion
Okay so the older posts are going to be added as we go one, so they still make sense. Unless there is something you don't want me to re-add in which case tell me.
So anyone up for some JP's?

Cool, did you want to use your NPC for it? Or maybe both him and Sullivan?

Yeah that will work

Re: Current Mission Discussion
The captain seems to be somewhat unaccounted for. Sadly we don't keep in contact beyond this so it could be something emergency-like and impromptu thus the lack of notification. In case it crosses anyone's mind she has not up and left us. She seemed to put a lot of effort into the simm to just waltz.
I'm somewhat loathe to start the mission (don't even know if I have that authority, come to think about it) without the CO establishing her new character, and in case she had some plans up her sleeve to further enhance the quality of the mission. Surprises if you will. The mission outlay his been given, we've all got our assigned tasks.
I know we've got a bio waiting in the wings. From the looks of things I'd be happy to accept it but like I said, I have no idea where I stand on actual OOC authority since I haven't been granted admin access. Then again it would be like handing me the keys to her car.....Watch this space.

Re: Current Mission Discussion
I went over my authority and sent an email to the gentleman waiting in the wings and explained that we are in the midst of getting things together, he understands and is waiting patiently. I saw that the skipper had posted on RSB that she is having computer issues so we should be hearing something from her in the next few days.

Explains why I missed that. I tend not to go into forums where the people with authority and power outnumber the people that are without it. A mixture self-stroked egos and power driven madness combined with the self presented delusion that their positions mean anything in life itself is a recipe for disaster.
That and I'm shy.

haha, I do tend to agree with you there, I won't mention any names. It is a good place for some information and discussion and ideas, monumental egos not withstanding.

Re: Current Mission Discussion
On the bright side we probably won't need any ground vehicles on missions. Hint towards the retarded idea of a jeep with a cannon only good if you're advancing ass backwards....
Well done Starfleet, well done.

Re: Current Mission Discussion
edhfdusfhuidsfhuidsfuids why is it that I have to have computer problems THIS week of all weeks? I swear I'm like Murphy's law's bitch.
Re: Current Mission Discussion
Josh- I'm going to get to our JP, and stuff tomorrow when I actually should finally have enough free-time to devote to writing again. It really sucks when you've got like five tests, and three essays and then a bunch of stuff for online courses in a week.
Re: Current Mission Discussion
It's no problem, glad to have you back with us.

Oh, I'm going to like it here. Hello, all. My name is Ben S.
Like Josh, I too live in the wonderfully beauteous state of Virginia. I will be playing Antoine Wercheg, the chief diplomatic officer (That's the best diplomatic officer, by the by)
I don't know how or what to even begin to post on here, so, if anyone would like to help me out on how/what JP's are, I'd be very appreciative. I'm kind of an ultra newbie to the whole Bravo Fleet thing.
Also, I don't know why, but my avatar seems out of place, despite it being exactly what I wanted. I think I may have chosen it unironically ironically.

Re: Current Mission Discussion
Welcome! I'm actually going to start a JP with everyone I haven't this Friday and then after those we'll probably move to the briefing JP and then launch soon(tm)
And your avatar...
It looks happy, all of ours aren't

Re: Current Mission Discussion
A JP is a joint post, a post between you and another person. Mainly used when two people are conversating or working on an assignment together. Take a look around, look at some of the other posts written to get a feel for the idea. Your first post might be on where you are just joining the ship still in drydock to get of get yourself on board the ship...just a suggestion

Re: Current Mission Discussion
Yeah joint-posts aren't that hard, and Oliver is still around somewhere I believe I think he's just waiting for the story to progress.
Re: Current Mission Discussion
Men are allowed to smile.
Women have to look off like they haven't a clue where they even are.
It appears as though a precedent has been set. At any rate, I very much look foreward to talking to you all and getting to know you, in and out of character!
EDIT: Awww heck yeah! PURPLE NAME!

Re: Current Mission Discussion
Okay, so, I probably should have included this in my last post. I guess I'm just on a roll tonight, but I'm allowed to post a kind of introductory post on the current mission thread. Just a post that has Lt. Wercheg docking and reporting for duty?
